No publishing or creative guarantee
Ink does not guarantee writing quality, originality, commercial success, acceptance by publishers, or compatibility with a particular style guide. You remain responsible for review, fact-checking, permissions, citations, and publication decisions.
Local storage can fail
Autosave, snapshots, trash, and browser storage can reduce accidental loss but cannot eliminate it. Clearing browser data, changing devices or profiles, private browsing, browser failure, device loss, or software errors may remove local documents. Download and safely store backups.
The recovery page can reveal only browser storage that still exists under the origin being inspected. It cannot reconstruct cleared storage, another browser profile, another device, or data that was never saved.
Writer tools are aids, not analysis
Dialogue Lens detects common double-quote, single-quote, guillemet, multi-paragraph, and dialogue-dash patterns; it does not understand speakers, meaning, rhythm, or narrative context. Reading and typewriter modes alter presentation rather than content. Scratch-margin exclusions and scene or spacing indicators should be verified in every export. Typewriter sounds are synthesized by the browser and may be unavailable, delayed, or sound different across devices.
Themes and accessibility
Ink’s theme packs are designed for readable light and dark presentation, but appearance can change with browser rendering, extensions, forced-colour modes, user styles, display calibration, zoom, or assistive technology. The availability of a theme is not a claim that every page or workflow is legally conformant in every environment.
Exports require inspection
PDF printing, text files, HTML files, and backups depend on browser and application behavior. Formatting may change. Confirm exported content before submission, publication, archiving, or printing.
Third-party infrastructure
Hosting, browser software, operating systems, fonts, and linked services may be unavailable or change without Ink’s control. Their inclusion does not create a warranty or endorsement.
Brand and copyright
Copyright protects original Ink website content and design automatically where applicable. The “ink.” wordmark and droplet are intended as brand identifiers; using a trademark symbol does not mean a mark is registered. Registration status and ownership should be confirmed before making stronger claims.
